DEE-A-TEE-E: (Sunday, May 30, 2010!)
tame tame dry with 402 girls!
- we had spent 30 min during the journey home on SIMC closing ceremony night calling up all the 402 guys asking them if they want to come along, but they ended up either not picking up or saying that they can't make it 7.7
- so it was just monica, weining, shaoxuan, yawen and I!
- quite cool, the five of us each lives 3 mrt stops away from another :D
- we were lucky people that day!
- so happens that nEBO was celebrating its 49th anniversary, so they were having a promotion such that 3 tickets were for $14.70, when the original price for 1 ticket alone is $15.50! :O :O :O
- that promotion is for nEBO members of course, and resourceful weining signed up as a member!
- throughout the entire day we were remarking that whenever we want to go out to play, must ask weining along because she can enjoy loads of privileges as the member! :D like half price at Zone X, special price for coasta sands resorts, cheaper movie tickets etc etc etc :D
- hmmm before that shaoxuan and monica bought swimwear at the stalls at ehub, and weining bought herself a royal blue halter dress C:
- even though we reached pasir ris at around 1+, it was not until 3 when we really started to play at wild wild wet!
- shaoxuan yawen and i were running around like blind bats cus spectacles are quite a hassle in a water theme park :/ weining was telling me to get a box of disposable contacts for 'special occasions'. hmmm see how la ;P i'm scared to meddle with my eyes :O
- i kinda like it when there are a lot of people when you're at a theme park cus there'd be more of the theme park 'feel'. but then again the queues for the attractions would be looooong :P that day, friday, was vesak day, so there were a lot of people! we were completely dry the first 15 minutes inside because we were queuing up for the ride where there's this huge tube which sits 5 or 6 people, and the tube slides down C:
- there were too many people for the tubes, so at first we couldn't get enough tubes, and all 5 of us were sharing one miserable meant-for-one-person tube :P we each leaned against one small portion of the tube such that we all faced inwards, and started playing heart attack :D funny how now and again one of us will fall off! :O
- oh the second time round people started to clear a bit, and so we managed to get tubes enough for all 5 of us :D we'd hold on to each other's tubes, such that our tubes forms this ring thing which kinda clogs up the 'river' channel :D
- pity couldn't take any pictures :C
- amazing how weining could go the entire day without food!
- had pizza after we went out :D
- some of us weren't all that full after pizza, and yawen suggested going for laksa, and we did C:
- there were two similar laksa stalls side by side in downtown east, and when we walked over and looked like we were interested, each of the two stall's lady bosses rushed up to us and shoved the menus under our noses, heavily promoting their own stall :P scaryyy
- well we chose our stall and sat there eating and talking for like, 2 hours :D
- went to get weining's nEBO card afterwards. C: we had to wait a while for it, so we went to take neoprints in the meantime :D
- great day it was :D
- Saturday: went over to cousin's house to swim and eat rice dumplings. Haven't swam for .... i don't know, i'ts too long that i don't know how long it is :P
