DEE-A-TEE-E: (Saturday, April 24, 2010!)
- waiting for my hair to dry before going to sleep
- i am finally home! C: though my house is hardly any more luxurious than hostel, it just feels different C:
- went to hospital with my mum after dinner to visit my aunt, who got appendicitis :O
- i learnt that being a doctor is really not an easy job after all
- she visited 4 doctors in total
- the first one asked her to go for a whole bunch of scans, tests and whatnot for diagnosis, and the test results would only come out in 3 days or so
- meanwhile, that doctor prescribed painkillers for her
- my aunt's mom's a doctor, and when my aunt described the symptoms to her mom, she gathered that it should be appendicitis and asked her to see another doctor
- and some stuff here and there, and she ended up going for an operation to remove her appendix
- yep this was two days ago. she consulted the first doctor four days ago
- and today, the first doctor, the one who prescribed painkillers, called her to ask if she'd submitted some thingy used in one of her tests for diagnosis, when she'd already undergone the operation -________-
- had she taken those painkillers, she might not have even noticed if the inflammation burns a hole through :O
- okay i'm probably not making any sense, but nevermind
- oh and surgeons have a tough job : /
- and i just learned lots of to-dos and not to-dos when you have appendicitis :D
