DEE-A-TEE-E: (Thursday, April 01, 2010!)

• i've been so busy the past few days that i didn't even turn on my computer.
• i've been thinking of not bringing my comp back on weekends so i'm rid of my biggest source of distraction : / but hasn't been working out so far :O
• so...
  
• past week and a half was very eventful!
• sad that me and si ying didnt get to go for the shell science fair! :C
• i like 506!
• yawen brought it up and we signed up for talent search, kinda on impulse :D
• and...
• it was quite hard for us to decide on what to do for the auditions, but in the end we settled for a live MV for you belong with me by taylor swift! plus dancing and singing and acting and violin :D
• rehearsals are fun fun fun C:
• the two girl roles in the mv were taken on by guys, john and alexius! very amusing to watch them act. heh heh
• but feedback from judges and mr lee was that we'd have to let real girls act as girls, if not it would portray a.. ahem
• oh and we got through the auditions of course!
• dancing was a but dizzy for the girls, just keep spinning and spinning :D
• i really like 506 in that (almost) everyone cooperates and are enthu in participating and stuff, and it doesn't seem like anyone feels like they are forced to do the stuff and everyone enjoys themselves (wah english fail)
• oh speaking of english, i'm glad that i did fairly well for my eng compre summative! :D hopefully that makes up for the atrocious essay that i wrote for summative...
• reaaaally looking forward to end of exams! and our semifinals! :D
• napfa was uhhh bad? not surprised though, since i haven't been exercising as much this year after i changed cca.
• i wonder what we are doing for pe next term
• congrats to book prize winners!
• i don't understand how i got bio, especially when i got A- for evolution : / and i know quite a lot of people who got A : /
• i hope my hospital attachment goes smoothly!
• plethora of tests and quizes D: they just keep coming
• celebrated march superheroes' birthdays last week too! or was it this week? getting really mixed up with time and things, cus so much happened within the week
• had march cluster celebration on tuesday! ordered in KFC. bought cakes for langfan and seoyong (sp? : /) oh i think seoyong (sp? : /) is pro, she takes like 4 honours, 3 olympiads, runs everyday (everyday!), prepares her own healthy breakfast/lunch/dinner frequently and... i can't remember her cca, but its one that'd take up quite a bit of your time. i wonder how she time manage :O pro, pro
• oh yes, it's april already! that's a quarter into the year! time seems to pass really fast, and seems so pass really slowly at the same time. uhm that didn't make sense, but yea.
• and happy birthday to yanling!
• ms cheng always seem to check our room's cleanliness at the wrong time. the wrong time meaning, she checks our room the day before the day we scheduled to clean the room. we used to put our cleaning day on thursday, and she just happens to put her 'checking time' on wednesday. so there's this week where we decided to clean our room on wednesday for a change, and on that very week she checked on tuesday! And last week, on the day she checked our room, i don't remember what we were doing, but adeline and I were very busy. i think we just rushed back in time for study roll call from ntuc or something and we are very preoccupied with stuff such that we didn't put our shoes and slippers onto the shoe rack. so when she came to check, she reminded/reprimanded us that the footwear should go onto the rack. we actually do keep them on the rack, that day was one of the only few exceptions :O yupp and there's yesterday, where we packed the room till its reaaaaally neat cus we expected she'd come. like usually during study time, our notes would be sprawled all over the table. but yesterday, the notes were in a tidy stack, everything along the stretch of the table was arranged, the floor was spick and span, the toilet rolls were neatly stacked up on the shelf, i even folded my blanket (i don't have the habit of making the bed. like i don't get the point of doing it, since you don't ever look at the bed in the day and at night when you're on the bed, the blanket isn't meant to be folded) and of course, the shoes were on the shoerack. but alas! she didn't come to check.
  
• i'm getting sick of HL milk. shall switch brand next time round.
• was talking to elza about her class and her mentor. her class really seems like quite a fun class, and her mentor seems really funny. like how he was leaning casually against the whiteboard, unaware that the marker he was holding was drawing against his shirt. and there's another time when he was frustrated/exasperated that his class kept asking him chem questions when the stuff can be found in the notes. on that day, weining was asking him lots of questions and he was (meticulously) explaining them on the board and writing and writing and writing until finally, he turns around and says timidly 'can i go now?' okay at least the way elza describe it to me was like that and it was super hilarious! :D not a very good idea to talk about funny stuff when your brushing your teeth though :P
• hm dinner time. got lots of other stuff, but i'll leave it till next time, if that time ever comes!
