DEE-A-TEE-E: (Saturday, March 20, 2010!)

• cycling in the rainnn !
  
• that's pretty much what the 402 outing yesterday was about. well i don't think it can be considered a class outing, cus only one fifth of the class turned up. nevertheless, it was still pretty fun!
• it was weining's second time riding a bike, so we rode slower to keep up with her. I think she's pretty good actually, to be able to ride like this when its only her second time! my second time on a bike was... still with training wheels -_-
• she stopped quite a lot at first and had some difficulty starting again each time she stopped, and she'd go zig-zag zig-zag, wobble, and stop :D but on our way back, she didnt stop at all and rode about as fast as the rest of us :D clap clap clap clap.
• yea we were heading towards the changi direction when it started raining... and got pretty heavy too, so we chionged to the nearest shelter and camped.
  
• when it got lighter, we continued chionging and chionging, and despite the rain getting pretty heavy again we didn't stop ... until we got all soaked from head to toe, thats when we stopped at another shelter.
  
• they should have windscreen wipers on glasses. so when you're riding a bike in the rain you can still see clearly
• when we reached the bike stand, we still had 1 hour out of our 3 hours to spare, so we started cycling in the other direction, despite the rain :D we reached the end pretty fast, cus the road was blocked off, apparently by the ironman competition?
• on the way back the wind was so strong and so cold, its like blowing us backwards and it was actually very taxing on the legs to cycle!
  
• yepp.. we all looked like we'd just stepped out of a pool when we returned the bikes and finally reached macs. i drank two cups of hot milo! mmm its warm when you simply put your face next to the cup :D
• freezing on the bus and mrt on our way back! we all didn't bring jackets -_-
• oh yea, yesterday morning after i just woke up, i turned on my phone and received a message. it was from some unknown person and the message goes: 'Attention attention! Addidas original factory outlet @ novena velocity is having a promotion until 28 of this month, all items are having a further discount of 30% ... ' the message was pretty long and i stopped reading, cus i assumed it's just another one of those smses promoting stuff. like there are other occasions where i get smses from jewelery promoters.
  
• then...
• on the mrt weining was presenting her new blue addidas bag and like hinting to me, but i didn't get it, and she was like 'didn't you receive my message?' and i was thinking, no? turned out that cus my phone was just turned on, the contacts hadn't loaded yet so the sms didn't display the sender's name, just the phone number, which i couldn't recognize. weining very cut-off to be a promotor huh :D

• went to catch alice in wonderland today! they're mmm free tickets given out by the parent groups thing in our school. limited to 60. yepp so i went with my parents. saw quite a few people i knew there too.
  
• hm the movie is ... okay i guess. the storyline is quite predictable, but still quite interesting. well, how boring can a wonderland get?
• i ate a lot today!
• first went to this seafood restaurant with relatives during lunchtime to celebrate my grandma's birthday. it's not today actually, but we don't get much chances to get together, especially when my dad and uncle are constantly flying around.
  
• and bought lots of stuff from petit provence after the movie. i like the food from provence C: use to buy from it a lot last time, from the one in holland v
