DEE-A-TEE-E: (Thursday, January 21, 2010!)
there's actually something with enough content to post about today, so no point form C:
402 steamboat! In celebration for the January babies: chris, tony, yawen, lewis!
At first seemed like a lot of people were going out to buy stuff, but somehow it ended up with only me weiren serene adeline going. yep so we left at 1+, but I went home first though, to get my drop honours formed signed and to random around. Yep, met back up with them at ntuc. We took pretty long to choose and decide what food to buy, how much of each, what brand etc etc i guess. Weiren was like in pain, having to stay and tolerate our slow-ness :P met monica and weijin there too, and weijin's choosing stuff for us like it's his own steamboat :D
serene and i went off to choose the cake at bengawan solo. We both really wanted the mango cake! (drool :P) budden some people may not like mango, so we played safe and got the blackforest cake. met them back in the interchange to take 196 back cus it was raining, but found out that weiren left already, carrying big bags of food back by himself and walking in the rain :O why why why !
got back to school at around 4 plus and got to work!
wash vegetables cook eggs wash prawn peel potatoes (got my fingers cut, ouch. yawen and adeline too) cut tofu wash pots get the plastic thing out of crabsticks chop sausages wash meat/fishballs wrap everything in clingwrap
phewwww. was pretty tiring :O
I wanted to play frisbee actually, but we prepared the food the whole afternoon till close 6pm, so straightaway went to set the steamboat up!
oh ya, i think zacc deserves lots of credit, cus he brought one the two sets of steamboat pot+heater! without it it would be quite inconvenient, with only one left. Plus he didn't come to eat anything :O
eh i better post in point form, my sentences are starting to become incoherent
- quite a lot of 402 people came today! like almost all i think.
- we all went to take the hostel cup for our drinks :D
- lots of people from other classes want to steal our food!
- mr ku came! but like only for... 10 minutes? he said he'd to go back cus it was late :C
- but ms lee came too! she stayed for long, but she came late, so by the time she came like more than half the food was gone :O
- before cake-cutting, ms lee suggested that the 4 birthday people stand on the canteen bench and sing 'happy birthday to me!' before the rest of us sing 'happy birthday to you' to them :D Took a video of it :D (I tried uploading the video up to facebook together with the photos i took, but after 45MB out of 52MB was uploaded, it got cancelled! disheartened sheesh. Shall upload after i get home tomorrow!)
- yawen's sensitive about her age, the last thing you should do is to ask her about it!
- i cant wait for the next 402 gathering :P
- there was this time where i was taking photos and yawen tried to block weiren's face with her hand. So, weiren tried to dodge by moving up and down, but unknown to him, i was taking a video. Thus i end up with this video of weiren's head+body moving up and down, quite comical :D he tried to get the camera from me to delete it, and i did give him the camera but took the memory card out, he didnt realize of course >:D he doesnt allow me to upload it on facebook :C
- i didnt get disconnected for the internet reset at 12am today! :O
- we ended at 8 to go back for study time, and went back to pantry after study time to wash up. well, actually it was only adeline doing the stuff this time, cus there was only one sink. sorry!
- math honours class task tomorrow :O havent studied! but then again i'm dropping so... :P
- its already like 3rd week into the semester and i'm still slacking! at this rate....
- i want to play frisbee...
