DEE-A-TEE-E: (Friday, July 17, 2009!)
Haven't blogged for quite a bit. -_-
So I'll try to summarize:
Went for the intertidal walk at pulau sumakau last sunday! C: I had to wake up super early, like, 4 plus, since they said we had to gather at 5.15. They really didn't need to, but my parents woke up with me that early too. Sigh.
Reached marina south pier at 5.10. That place was surprisingly new. Kinda resembles an mrt station. I expected it to be pretty run-down. There weren't anyone i recognized there, so i thought i went to the wrong place at first. But like a minute later, desmond came. Then serene. turned out that two of the girls that reached before me (that i didnt recognize) were from our school too. Later, pan chuen and another girl and mr soh came. So that adds up to 4 year fours and 3 other level students.
boat ride was boring.
Me, serene and desmond were the only 'group' that kinda know each other better, and the others weren't really interecting with each other. So while walking to the intertidal area, we decided to be 'social' and tried to talk.
Tried. I'm anything but social, so obviously i failed. Serene went up to this girl and asked: are you from year 3? And guess what? That girl shot her an angry look and said: NO.
and we were like... okay..
the intertidal walk was interesting. Its hard to write in words, i'd post the pictures of all the animals we saw there... someday, perhaps. Its a good thing we learnt bio diversity last sem actually, we get to appreciate the stuff there much better C:
celebrated by mum's birthday on sunday with my aunt's family, although my mum's birthday is on the 15th. Ate a buffet at goodwood park hotel. yum yum. I'm really turning fat.
monday through thursday... nothing too eventful for me to remember.

I love fridays.
first there's pe, which is usually pretty fun, aside from the running. Today we learnt how to play with frisbees, although i remember quite clearly we already learnt how to last time (still, i can't throw nor catch one properly). We ran laps first. Ms Lee got eyang to draw lots. there were four of them, written 2, 4, 6, and 8. basically you run the width of the soccer field 2 times the number you drew. 407, the class taken by ms lee before us, drew 6. E drew
2! :D yep so we ran back and forth twice. I was pretty exhausted.... so thank goodness we got 2. havent been running since the last pe lesson i think :P
did some umm practice with the frisbee first, which took up 1 hour. then went for temperature taking, and some survey thing in the com lab. went back down for pe, and we play a match kindof frisbee. there were two teams, and five consecutive passes scores a point. Some pretty hilarious things happened there....... ;)
math was taken by mr yee, since mr ku had something else on. but he left the class after like, 3 minutes? so we played CHARADES! yep thats the second thing that makes fridays fun. I think the guys in our class have really good vocabulary. Loads better than me, at least. Oh i learnt a new word today: esoteric! I don't want to change class next year.....
We watched mythbusters during physics today too C: Mr wong never fails to show us an video!
oh yea! during my 2half hour of free period on tuesday, serene, ada and i watched joseph and the technicolour dreamcoat! serene borrowed the dvd C: though the class was pretty noisy... so i couldnt catch a lot of the things they were singing. yay i like musicals. I watched les miserable in canada too C:
weining played a really nice song for me to listen on her phone today. Its the opening song from fruits basket. And guess what? the composer is called ritsuko okazaki! okazaki fragments! :D this school has turned me so... geeky?
I love to sleep. More precisely, I love dreams. It's like leading a second life.
