402 bbq today!
shall talk about other stuff that happened today first.
mentoring nothing much. physics nothing much.
oh wow my dad just started playing a CD by michael jackson! Hahaha, he bought it when we just came to s'pore i think. thats........ 10 + years ago. Heh the songs all sound so familiar, I think I listened to it quite often when was younger.... since my dad would have listened to it quite often.
Okay anyway, PE was just height and weight. Put on.... dunno how many kilos, but still within my acceptable range C: shrunk by half a centimeter. :C We still got Ms Lee this sem C: she dyed her hair.... hm..... i'd say i prefer the previous colour. We're going to do frisbee, floorball, mini tennis and track this sem. Is it me, or are we doing track almost every sem? We were released half an hour early, plus the half an hour of lesson push back and our original half hour of break, we all together had one half hour of free time. Class started playing charades. Super amusing to watch the people act :D C
hinese was typical chinese lesson. Math is hard. I forget almost everything about trigo. Oh during math lesson, there was this teacher who came to my class and wanted to see me. So i went out and she gave me this form and told me to see her today outside the staff room right after my lesson ends. She sounded super stern la. : / So I was thinking, okay, I can just go find her outside the staff room later. When math lessons ended, I went over to the staff room, but she wasn't outside! Then i realised maybe she'd meant to
call her at the staff room after my lesson. Problem is, I didn't know who she was!
Called adeline, none of them knew either. Then adeline suggested that I go outside the GO to look at the photos of all the school staff and see which one looks like her. Smart, but not that smart, because some of them look very different in photo than in real person. There were 3 people that I thought looked quite like her, so went to call each of them at the staff room. All never pick up. Went to check at the staff room for a few more times, nothing. Then monica said she was quite sure the teacher is from the bio department. So I went back to the staff room, but met her outside -_- anyway she was one of the teachers i tried calling, dunno why she wasn't in.
Math honours is becoming harder. :C
Walked with 402 classmates to clementi mrt. walk-runned, rather. First yuhan tried taking some weird route to the mrt which was supposedly the shortest because it was a 'straight line'. Then we started to split up into a few small groups each taking a different route. Eventually we merged back and there were two groups, and sort of raced each other to the mrt. :O We should have taken a bus though, sorry michael :C
weining, serene and hanisah (she came along too C: ) went before us to set up some stuff, like bringing the food down. Weining is awesome la, prepared so much stuff. The food, drinks, marinating the chicken wings, plates, cutleries, cups, soap, charcoal, wrapping the corn, sweet potatoes and mushrooms, etc etc etc.
The guys were preparing the barbeque pit, and the girls helped with skewering the food. I always can't get the satay stick through the sausage nicely :C
Didn't eat much, but strangely, I felt quite full. The beef satay was great C:
Keatmun's auntie is super skilled in barbequeing, compared to the rest of us :D she flips stuff around effortlessly and knows when stuff are ready to each, while we fumble around with them with the pair of tongs.
Went up to weining's house for a bit while helping her return some stuff. Weining's wardrobe is totally different from mine. She has lots and lots of dresses, skirts and dressy tops. Mine seems like a super boyish one if put beside hers.... two thirds of the all the clothes are school based tees and bottomes, the rest are all t-shirts, shorts, bermudas, jeans or pants, with the exception of one non-school skirt which i hardly wear.
Adeline should have come la. Those stuff are really not much different from what you might have eaten at home....... like chicken wings for example. Just for the fun of it :D
