DEE-A-TEE-E: (Friday, May 15, 2009!)
Its like what happens in the body.
A mutated gene gets expressed in a cell and it turns cancerous. Then it spreads to the neighbouring cells. There's the ligands which signal the receptor proteins, some of which are amplifiers. There's also the spectator ions, who may not be involved in the whole thing but witness part of it. When chemotherapy comes in, the cancerous cells get into big trouble, but at the same time other innocent cells may die too.
the audaciousness... its appalling.
