ok now for today.
woke up at a horribly late time at 10. yes,yes, im a pig. then took my own sweet time to clean up, eat breakfast and dress up. then went for 5 nations netball. met hanisah, and 2 yr fives at mrt stations, then we went to eat lunch at long john's (eh, i've been eating lots of long john's lately....) the rest of the netball team were at elaine's house preparing food for the barbeque party later on. but i cant go): and tricia was at cheers, and debra and mag at school for PSL for some healthy lifestyle thing (next two weeks of school will be healthy lifestyle week!! :P) and germ had other stuff so never come. anyway, we went to the toa payo(sp?) sports hall first. never been there i think.
anw, the first match was sri lanka and north ireland competing for 3rd place. there's this sri lanka girl (GS) who was ohmygoodnessly tall! 206cm! (tricia said se thinks she is hagrid's wife or something. ahahaha. ) they're not singapore, so we singaporeans dunno who to support. so, tricia supported sri lanka ("we must support our fellow asians and not ang-mohs") but, in the end, ireland won.
second match was singapore and t&t competing for championship! i never thought singapore was that good, i thought it would get kicked out in the first round or something. (oooooooops!). and yea singapore got champion. but the umpire is a little..... ah nevermind.
actually i pretty pity t&t...cus the whole stadium was supporting singapore :P then whenever singapore intercepted the ball the whole stadium will cheer like crazy and beating those bong pong (is that what you call it? those pairs of inflated sticks which u slam together to give that clapping sound) together like mad. then, whenever t&t is in possesion of the ball, the whole stadium will go: DEFEND *clapclap* DEFNED *clapclap* DEFEND *clapclap*. and, when we are holding on to the ball, they will go: let's go singapore, lets go! *clapclap* let's go singapore, let's go! *clapclap* the cheer at the very end of the match was the most deafening one... :P
i think everyone at the stadium were netballers.
i want that mini netball! but four dollars....so ex for such a small ball,...must well buy the original 'big' version.
