DEE-A-TEE-E: (Friday, August 31, 2007!)
hello! Im in a happy mood today cus term three has ended! (: but term 4 is coming.... ): anyway, i shall blog about what happened yesterday, first.
english: ENGLISH TEST! OMGosh. i died. i think lots of my modules are screwed up this sem, including:english, physics, bio, IS
chinese: nothing much
bio: replaced by 1 hour free period, which we slacked it away, plus one hour of physics. nothing much either
math: math quiz. it was ok. (:
chem: ahh....what can i say?
throughout lunch, bryce, e and me played scrabble! (: very long time since i last played it. hahs.
OH YEA! and during...math, i think, mr sun appeared at the back door of our class suddenly,looking for tricia. tricia, whose back was directly to him, didnt see him. so, i tapped her arm and went"look behind you, look behind you, look behind you." for some reason, she began freaking out and not daring to look behind. then, she slowly turned her head, and when she spotted mr sun standing there, the got a really bad shock and jumped up from her chair. to add on to it, mr sun got a shock too and jumped up! it was soooooooooo hilarious!(:
kay, so moving on to today. today's teacher's day celeb, and we had it in jurong bird park, cus apparantly prof lai likes birds. but before that, we went for our very last street sales.-______-. but that means:
STREET SALES IS FINALLY OVER!!!!!yay!!!! no more 'nice little' visits so raffles place, no more getting the 'i-am-a-very-kind-hearted-person-but-sorry-i-do-not-want-to-hel' smile, no more wasting of saliva for repeating robotically 'excuse me, we are raising funds for SPCA. would you like to hel--', not more starvation from sacrifizing lunch for standing out there begging, no more agitation due to hundreds of thousands of regections, no more draining the very last bit of your energy trying to get that measly sum of money, and the list goes on...
lots of people came today. (around 15 i think) but, many of which were just slacking around. zzz. -___- gahh. still, we hit our target!
actually, i didnt go out and sell today, i was in macs with elza trying to finish up all the leftover rolls of wire. adeline was sick and stayed in macs too, wj and his di also stayed in macs, doing his geog hw and playing on the laptop. tpl,sy,johnathan,the-cute-203-boy-whose-name-i-cannot-spell, janell, cleo and germaine went out to sell.
halfway through, elza wanted to go toilet and the toilet in macs was out of order, so i brought her to the toilet in raffles place mrt. i waited and waited and waited and finaly, she came chionging out of the toilet, saying that she ________ and was very very flustered. such a weird place to ________! elza wanted to cover up _______, but has no jacket whatsoever. then i suggested to wear a badge, so she rushed back to ask germ to lend her her spongebob badge, but germ didnt bring it. then, she asked bryce for his badges pinned on his pencil case, but he didnt bring it either. then i told her she could spill milo over, but she didnt want, saying that cannot wash off. so, she decided to tuck in her shirt, but she looked very weird. in the end, she finally decided that it wasnt very obvious, so she ignored it. elza huhh...what can i say?
later on tricia came,and joined the 'selling group', and bryce came too, joining the
'slacking group'. si ying realised she left her bird park ticket at home, so she travelled all the way back home to get it. the 'slacking group', adeline and the 2 205 girls went off first. the rest of us continued selling/making up till 1 oclock +. (we were supposed to reach bird park at 2) we realised that 204 havent gotten a teachers' day card for mr tang, so we rushed to a gift shop to get one. plus, we havent had our lunch, so we went to get takeaway from BK. the queue was very long, so waiting for everyone to finish getting the food took v long. after buying the food, elza wanted to go toilet, which took up more time, and it was now 2 oclock. oops. we went back to OUB bank to get a cab. since it was just nice 8 ppl left, we decided to take an 8-seater cab. but, no 8 seater cabs came! ): tricia helped us call for one. she talked to the operator over the phone:
tricia: can i get an 8-seater cab?
operator: you want 2 taxis?
tricia: no, i want an 8-seater taxi.
operator: so you want to get two taxis?
tricia: no! i want one 8-seater taxi!
operator: we only have 7-seater taxis.
tricia: okok i want a 7-seater taxi.
operator: you want two taxis?
tricia: i want one 7-seater taxi! one, one. 7 seater!
ahaha. but, thank goodness, we still managed to call for one seven seater taxi. apparantly, the taxi at that moment was a five minute drive away from us. but, due to the horrible traffic jam, the time it will reach us was not certain. in the end, we waited allllllll the way up till 2.30++, then the taxi came. elza, as usual was exhilarated (sp?). -.- so, in the end, we reached school 1 hour late, and the bird show had already started.
after the bird show (i like the cookatoo and the parrot(: ) we had teacher's day celeb. we gave the teachers glass bottles as gifts. :p at the end of everything, we went to prof lai to get signatures, and we got 24 of them! before going home, germ treated me,sy,tpl and elza to ben and jerry's icecream. si ying's ben and jerry's ice-cream got stuck to her lid, so instead of the ice cream fitting nicely in the tub (the way it should be), it stuck onto the lid so when she opened the lid, the whole chunk of ice-cream came out along with it!
yep. so thats about. it. tmr going siying's house! (: and im looking forward to class party!(:
