DEE-A-TEE-E: (Monday, November 13, 2006!)
A long time since I posted…again. I can’t seem to keep updating. Either I am too lazy to post or I don’t have enough time. So…moving on.Yea, had our class (m06104) parteh on Wednesday. Was it a success? Dunno if you ask me, but I think it was pretty fun overall. The party started at 11, at timo’s house, which is at YISHUN. Freakin far, considering that I live almost at the other side of the country of that place. I intended to take mrt to yishun and take bus 169 and blablabla to his house but then, Joanna told me that her dad could fetch me from jurong east to timo’s house. THANK GOODNESS. Saved me that few hours of traveling time. ((((: at first I was meeting Adeline and Si Ying at the yishun mrt station then take the bus together, but since Joanna’s dad was fetching me, they had to go one person less. Sry Adeline and baby sy for that…
So, I got to wake up MUCH later since it takes me less time to go there. And so, I went to jurong east station and joanna’s dad picked me up from there. We arrived at timo’s house pretty early. At 10+ I think. But juin bin and zawadul (did I miss ppl out? Got a feeling I did) already reached before us. AND THAT CUTE DOG OF TIMO’S. It is cho cute! Shall upload a really blur pic of it here. Sorry for such a blur pic, cuz I took that picture on my handphone, then to get it onto the com, I use that logictech video thingy to take picture of the picture in my handphone (bet you dunno what I am talking about) so there you go. The super blur and poor quality pic.
At first when we reached, the guys were trying to find something for me and Joanna to do while they played xbox. But there was already an entertainment to keep us occupied: DOG. :D the bad thing about the dog was that it stinks. The smell could be smelt right from the living room. But still, we *played* with it and took pictures and stuff. Apparently, the dog likes Joanna and me cos it kept on barking and barking before we came and when we came, it stopped. Ha. The dog was let out from its cage a few times. And many people freaked out at the dog. The dog got really excited and for some reason, started hugging my leg and wanted to climb up (I think). When I finally got the sense to climb up onto the sofa so the dog couldn’t reach, it went for Joanna instead. :D then shoun came. And he patted the dog and stuff so the dog stuck on to him instead. Phew for us. Btw, the dog poo-ed and pee-ed in the house on the floor today. Poor maid.
Then the elza and the rest of the guys coming in the class came. Now it was left with Adeline and Si Ying. Turned out that they got lost somewhere in yishun. The direction to timo’s house was: 1) take mrt to yishun station 2) cross the road and take bus 169 3) alight at the prata shop (this is the actual name) Adeline and Si ying went to yishun, crossed the road, and actually, there were 2 busstops across the road. So, they went to the wrong one. And got lost. They started calling timo. They took 169 finally and got down at the wrong stop. So they decided to WALK back to the station, *inspired* by timo’s words. They also asked people for directions like where prata shop was. But there were actually TWO prata shops. And timo got the name wrong too. It was called the prata PLACE, not the prata shop. Hahx. After getting lost for 30 min or so, they took a cab to timo’s house.
After they arrived, we went to the prata place for lunch. Most of the girls ordered 1 plain + 1 egg, but elza ordered 1 egg + 1 onion, and jo ordered 1 egg + 1 onion. Somehow, elza’s EGG prata got mixed up with utkarsh’s CHEESE prata, and utkarsh accidently ate elza’s onion prata. Elza got mad (Not that extreme though) and utkarsh had to buy another prata for elza. Jo ordered milk prata, and it arrived pretty late. When it arrived, we all had a shock: the prata was HUGE. Like about 2 times the size of an egg prata. She could not finish, duh. And elza finished around 3 PLATES of curry. Like, wow.
After lunch we went back to the house. The girls (except Joanna) plus ping liang and wei jin helped out in the food. Wash then, cut them up, stick em onto the sticks, marinating and storing. A little mao(2) dun(4) there. Cus the others didn’t help out at all and some went to the bowling centre (we intended to go there after marinating the food) without waiting for us.
After all these was done, we went to occ to bowl. While waiting for the shuttle bus, we met those who left without us. Apparently, they took the bus in the WRONG direction and went to the other side of Singapore. Hahx. The shuttle bus came, and it was quite a small one, only could whole like 20+ people. And there were 17 of us, plus some other people. So, everybody was rushing up the bus and all the girls + ping liang and wei jin and timo (did I leave out someone?) couldn’t go up and so they left without us. AGAIN. We got quite pissed off cos we were the ones marinating the food and helping out and further more, timo was the host. And they just happily board the bus and dump us here. So, we took two taxis to occ.
So we went to bowl. Joanna was GOOD at it. Striked several times. :D surprisingly, I striked once, cos this is my, um, second or third time bowling I think. What a miracle. Cant remember when was the last time I bowled. Well, nothing much to say about bowling. O_o
We went barbequing. Took the food and go. To timo’s grandma’s condo. We took both barbequing pits there. And it took REALLY long to set it up. O_o like about ½ hour+. Then we heated up the bee hoon and cooked other food. Din eat much though. We were barbequing the chicken wings when the fire went how. Oh, how sad. So the chicken wings were half cooked and they all went straight into the bin. We wasted lots of food there. There was also a playground nearby and so me, elza and some others went there and swing. :D looks like elza LOVES swinging a lot cuz she stayed on the swings for a REALLY long time until her butt hurts. Anyway, after the bbq lots of food were thrown away and Joanna fetched me home(: straight to my doorstep((((:
The girls (excluding Adeline and germ, but I don’t think Joanna can make it cos she has her dance practices) in our class signed up for this project runway thing in our school. The task was to make a dress or a suit out of newspaper, magazines, cans, bottles, and IT parts. And we have to choose a model to wear out costume on the disco night. Our model is elza!!! :DDDDD she is so wei(3) da(4) to even agree to be the model. Hahax. Today we started on making the dress for her(: we finished the top only though. And we LAUGHED a lot too. Elza looked hilarious in it sometimes. We made the top out of newspaper and magazines. Adding some wires to it too to secure it later. I think it looks pretty okay(: anyway, I think our group was the only one to sign up for the project runway so we will win all the prizes for sure(: but I think shoun’s group is also signing up for it.
Oh yea. We also received our eng, phys, indices surds and sets and geog paper today. Did badly for eng. Okay for phys and indices surds and sets I guess. Not too good for geog either. Ahh. My cap will me so bottomline low this sem!! ):
