My chinese test keeps being pushed back. Firstly, I don't have a lot of free time to take the test. Secondly, Mr ho was not in school on the day I had free time. Thirdly, he had something else to attend on the other day I have free time. So yep. I'm taking the test when school reopens in term 4 : /
Woah it's going to be term 4 in just a week! Time flies way too fast...... We'll be year fives in 4 months! We'll be graduating in 2 years!
Monday was teacher's day celeb. Gave mr ku this jigsaw puzzle of our class photo. I think its super nice! I want one of my own! We got Mr chia a mug with our class photo with him printed on it. That one's nice too C: Got Mr wong ribena and dr tan a stuffed giraffe (apparantly it relates to evolution) And made a card for all the teachers who'd taught us.

Well the guys in our class are not so trilled about this...
The girls made her a card and we got two packs of chocolates from the bookshop... quite umm... last minute but its the though that counts, right? C:
Had PE on thursday (taking friday's timetable)!
We played captain's ball with a rugby ball against our own class. Yep the first game was like this: If the ball drops on the floor, the team which last touched the ball has to do two push ups. The second was just normal. And as usual, the games were super funny!! Actually I can't remember exactly the stuff which were funny... but at that time all of us laughed until our stomachs hurt. : /
Kay today was sports day. The weather is really fickle minded today, switching from super scorching sunshine to drizzling and back again and back again again and then a downpour and the sun again. -_-
Running events went on as usual though. I ran 200m, my first time taking part in sports day and my first time running 200m! :P
Well faraday came in first overall, followed by nobel who is just 2 points away from us, and then fleming and finally fibo.
there was supposed to be a class outing to swensens today, but about 10 people or so couldn't make it, so it got called off. Hope we get a really good one next time...
So in the end adeline, monica, shaoxuan and I went to plaza sing to shop for materials for the mid-autumn festival performance. Oh yea my class got invited to perform for the mid-autumn festival celebration since we performed as a class for the translation competition. -_- haha. And we shopped for birthday presents too. Theres this stuffed toy catching machine that has this HUUUUUGGGGEEEE cinamoroll stuffed toy. I bet if tricia was there, she'd be staring at it longingly and contemplating whether to give it a try or not.

Anyway, I don't think I'll post about the england trip. Not up to it :C considering that I didn't finish writing about the holiday to canada. I'll upload all my pictures taken on facebook though. 700 of them! C:
Super tired from netball today :C
I'm so not fit, after a loooong time of no exercise and the feeding they gave us over at warwick westwood cafe. Plus contributions from the jet lag, I guess. I think hanisah is super strong! Like she's fasting, yet she can go for training as per normal. I would have fainted from dehydration or something I think.
My homework list is 4 pages long. Hurray.

The rest of the level is so happy after today, since it's like all the tests and quizes are over for the whole level after today's physics quiz for some classes. Plus next week has only 2 official school days, and the week afer that is September holidays.

PE today was interclass captain's ball. Super funny!!! Can laugh until your stomach hurts. Hm actually I forgot what was so funny, there were many instances where funny stuff happened. Someone should have video-ed it, then we can re-watch and 're-laugh' :D
I love 402. Don't want class shuffling next year. :C Okay I'm not close to the guys in my class, but all of them are pretty tolerable and most of them are nice.
When we first came in in year 1, they told us we're going to be in the same class for 6 years.
But they shuffled the classes in year 3. Then they told us we're going to be in the same class for the next 4 years.
And now they're going to reshuffle us again. : /
Kay today one of the morning announcements announced that the school is considering getting a school skirt for the girls as part of the uniform (well now they're skorts, not skirts). I rather skorts, they're more convenient.
Oh and we have a new coach for netball. I think she's pretty good and pretty nice, although I heard that her trainings are tiring, and yes, it was tiring today!
Hope I can sleep early today. Everytime I say that, but I still end up sleeping late. I got no self control at all. : /

Everyday there's the course itself through the day, and after dinner you can pick one out of three activities offered for the day. Yup there's the active, creative and learning categories. For today, and extra one's added: chillout. And for chillout, we get to use the comp. So! I finally get to use the comp -_- i thought there'd be computers right in your room for us to use...
Um where do i start?
adeline, shaoxuan, weining, weijin, monica and rion went to send me off on saturday. C: desmond's dad hired the escorting service, so we followed around this staff who first brough us to a small room to wait. yea after that she brought us to the gate and plane.
The movies on the plane were awesome! C:
Well quite awesome. I watched x-men origins:wolverine, x-men (the one with wolverine and rogue) and 17 again. So that took up pretty much the whole of the flight. Ate and listened to music for the rest of the time, cus i didn't manage to go to sleep.
alighted from the plane feeling reaaaaally tired. iggy staff zoe podmore picked us up from the airport and we took a long bus ride to warwick campus. tried to sleep on the bus too, but still failed.

reached the dorm really late, like 11pm plus (england time).

National day celebrations today!
I found a red shirt while packing for my england trip. It's from henry park sports day in 2002! The shirt is like very baggy for me even now, I wonder how I could wear it when I was in p3. It'd probably reached up to my knees :O
Speaking of england trip, our school allowed us to go for the IGGY medical sciences course!!! :D my parents allow too!!

I can't wait to board the aeroplane! I love taking planes! If I were Adeline, I'd feel that my life is seriously missing something, and that something is taking planes ;P I can't wait to touch down in Heathrow airport, to meet my mentor(s), to check out my accomondation, to meet all the friends to be, to experience how it's like to study in that kind of environment, to try out their laboratories, to chill out in the evenings with my group, to visit the warwick castle........ :D
Flight's at 12.45pm tomorrow. Haven't really finished packing. I'm so last-minute :P
Seems like quite a handful of people are going to send us off tomorrow. There's my mum, I'm sure there'd be desmond and sung hyun's parents, there'd be mrs chong and probably mr soh and probably ms ow. THere's also hanisah and some others whom desmond said, but i forgot. Adeline, siying, monica, shaoxuan, weijin and some others (forgot, sorry ;P) said they wanted to send me off too C:
Okay back to today. The celebration itself was so-so. Potluck was filling. The strawberry strudel was good C: and so was keatmun's cheese dip. C: got some nushs brochures and gifts (meant for the people over at warwick) and my travel insurance from mrs chong. yawen's picture is in one of the brochures under then einstein plus section :D

Then she gave us a lecture, and ordered us to walk two rounds around the block in the 'proper', good girl manner. heh.

Ummmm. Not sure.

There was this period of time where me and my friends pretended to be detectives, and we snooped around the school, exploring the school and snooping around. In the old school, throughout the school's renovation and in the new school too C: yea so then we had detective names. Hahaha.

Those detectiving i guess. Creating coded language, having tools like magnifying glass, sound magnifyers, finger print powder, etc etc. We were really quite into it! Kay theres also block catching between many people in our level during the breaks. Fun C: and going yiann's house after school. Playing

Everyone who had, at any/some point, been a close friend, The school, the school bus, the two storey hall (6A sits on the upper storey!), the grey round table that we always sit at, the day after PSLE, where we ran and screamed, the young investigators' days, the abogolo man (okay that was random), the recorder sessions, the ghost game we played in the old school, the nice small bridge over the small pond in the old school, dashing down the circular staircase from 7th to the 1st floor in a matter of seconds, climbing up strenuously from the 1st to the 7th floor to our classroom (not to mention the heavy bags!), the primary five camp, running rounds around the school in preparation for napfa 1.6, staying back after school to play, sneaking out to the playground and the store opposite school after lessons despite it being banned, charlie (so cute C: ), painting the wall on the 5th (or is it the 6th?) floor, our halloween themed class deco... I don't think you'll have the time to read all of my memories...

Oh. So they
are asking for more.
Our class was split into groups, and every term the group will change, and so will the group name and colour. There'll be a theme for the group name each term. There was once the theme was lord of the rings, and my gorup was legolas (blue), and another time the theme was spongebob, and my group was gary (green) C:
Sat beside belinda in p6, and we'd draw lots of dolphins and make tac out of eraser dust. Heh heh heh.
There would always be one fad after another. There was a badminton craze once, and we played and played and played everyday during breaks and after school. There was once where many people brought those animal pencil boxes to school. Then there was this period of time where everybody had autograph books, where you go around asking all of your friends for their autograph.
Food! We'll always eat the same minced meat noodles for break. Fruit punch or ribena as a drink. Then there's those 20 cents ice-cream. Teddybear biscuits. Apollo biscuits. Seaweed.
There was this occasion, (was it teachers' day?) where a few of us got chosen to take part in this thing called rhythmic display. In other words, mass dance. I still remember the song to it...
There was also this time were we all had to march, then we'll march for fun in our free time too :D

I have an english test tomorrow, which i haven't prepared for a single bit.
I also have chinese ting xie and chem quiz on thurday, and i won't have time to study for any of them tomorrow, since i'd be having SJPO and meeting with JTDP mentor.

DEE-A-TEE-E: (Saturday, August 01, 2009!)
1st of august!
I haven't even gotten used to writing XX July '09 on my worksheets yet, and now its august already. Whoosh.
I sprained my finger.
again. I was catching a netball yesterday, and i think i didn't catch it properly or something and it hit my hand at the angle such that it sprained by finger -__-
I thought it was just an impact, but when I got home I realised was turned swollen and bruised. Just like the last time D:
But on a brighter note, this time its the fourth finger, not the thumb.
I hope it recovers in within like 1 week, or else i can kiss practising piano goodbye for the whole of august. My thumb one took more than 3
months to fully recover.
Lots of people in our level went for blood donation. I heard yawen, or is it shaoxuan, she said that in china, if you go for blood donation, they'll give you lots of tonics and supplements and stuff o_o

Although I didn't do much work today. I spent the whole working hours on studying physics and nothing else. Well, at least i think i'm starting to understand it... so i guess it's worth it.
Woke up at 8.30. surprisingly early. But, after I ate dinner, I felt piggish and went back to sleep :/
I don't feel like going back to school tomorrow. I'm pretty sick of school already. Slogging away at homework... reading those unit long sections in the textbooks... blehh. Thinking about it makes me feel like slacking even more. I think I'm turning more and more lazy :P

DEE-A-TEE-E: (Monday, July 20, 2009!)
I haven't been to the facebook friends for sale thing since the first or second time I looked at it. So today I went to drop by out of boredom, and for some reason, my 'value' shot up to $14 million!
And it turned out that lots of random people have been buying/selling me and making me do stuff. There's Jana Vaďurová, Cherry Birtlin, Morrissa Richards, Leah Edwards, Louise Burton, Luana Fioritoni, Joanne Boyd, Britney Rose, Emilia Pantera, and the list goes on...
And it seems like this Leah and Britney had been competing with each other to 'buy' me. Like they buy me from each other for what, 30+ times?
